Ever since I first started as a wedding photographer I have dreamed of a wedding at The Ritz in London. I don't know why but being the lover of all lovely things in Britain this hotel falls into that list. Its always to me seemed a magical part of London heritage.
So when Rossella and Nima got in touch and told me their plans I was beside myself with joy! A winter wonder of a wedding at both Islington Town Hall for the ceremony and then The Ritz for a seriously intimate reception and a little drinks fun at The Little Bat in between :)
Of course any wedding is only amazing if the couple are amazing. And oh my Rossella & Nima are just wonderful human beings who so clearly adore and love one another. I could not ask for more.
Islington Town Hall is superb and the council chamber makes for a brilliant backdrop for a registry. Surrounded by the people who love them from a couple of corners around the globe this awesome pair exchanged vows.
Post ceremony everyone headed to The Little Bat around the corner for champagne and joyful celebrating. This little bar had the most infectious atmosphere and some intimate ambient light so I was in my element!
It was then back in the Rolls for a journey across the city to the iconic Ritz Hotel. An intimate party of 18 filled the William Kent and Queen Elizabeth rooms with fun, laughter and love to a backdrop of classical harp and jazz music (not at the same time) This wedding had so much dancing you would never guess it was a small party :)
Anyway time for photos, thank you Rossella & Nima you are wonderful and I loved every second of your special day.
