Matt & Elle's beautiful Lincolnshire DIY winter wedding at home.
Seriously I have no idea where to start with this wedding.
I first met Matt & Elle last year when they approached me about doing they're wedding photography for they're wedding which was likely to be at Dulwich College due to it being a February wedding that venue offered them shelter and it was convenient for they're London life.
However Matt & Elle have a very big adventure coming up where they are moving to Florida at the end of March 2015 and this wasn't just to be a wedding it was also a farewell party.
Elle is a girl after my own heart, country born, a lover of animals and the great outdoors. She wanted a wedding at home with a marquee and a beautiful church. February however isn't the standard month for marquee style weddings, did that deter her? No. The week running up to the wedding had a fair few mishaps and Elle admitted to me that there were points that the Dulwich College wedding became the more appealing option. Based on the day though despite a bit of wind and rain I have no doubt they made the right decision.
This event was a coming together of family and friends. ALL of the flowers were done by Elle's bridesmaid Cat, the cake was beautifully put together by Louise Baker of Bakers Cakes & Catering who Elle used to babysit for. Matt's brother and friend played their first dance song, everything was special and personal.
Guys thank you for having me on this journey with you. From our first meeting to your family and engagement shoot and then designing your album I can't express how much of a pleasure it has been to work alongside you and provide you with these memories to take with you on the next chapter in you life together.
I have to do a big shout out to Libby & Tom at Whites Fine Food who did the catering, lovely people and fantastic food!
Now for photos…..
