A wedding photographer in London and Surrey with Candace & Ian.

wedding at mayfair library

One amazing couple and two beautiful weddings

Candace and Ian are the definition of love. So totally and utterly head over heels for one another. So if you don't like that sort of thing look away now. I however love it hence why I am a wedding photographer ;)

Just being around these two for a couple of minutes has you grinning from ear to ear. They are infectious and perfect for each other. I always wonder at how couples like Candace and Ian find each other in our fast paced crazy world. For these two it was love at first sight at a 1900's circus themed party and then 12 days later they found themselves in New York together and then last summer Ian proposed while they were having a picnic in Regents Park. Absolute perfection.

Part one of their wedding was held at Mayfair Library in London. I love this place having been a few times before. The library is beautiful and the gardens next door and the streets of Mayfair are perfect for photos after. For these guys this party was a small party of their nearest and dearest. Candace looked incredible and both of their smiles and laughter during their registry was amazing.

Part two was held at a family friends house who happens to have the most incredible garden. It was a 1920s themed garden party and a glorious affair it was with the sun shining (a bit too much for my poor shoulders) friends and family had traveled from far and wide to celebrate this wonderful union. There was a ceremony with personal vows, Harry Potter wands and more smiling and laughing. Then everyone had a picnic. There was an ice cream truck, beautiful live music and the best speeches.

It was perfect. And a honour to photograph this amazing day.

So thank you Candace & Ian for letting me share in your day and I hope you love this little preview.
