Oh my goodness what a wonderful way to kick off the 2016 weddings!

I started yesterday off by being welcomed into the warm and loving home of Lydia's family. It was all go with lots of bright colours as everyone got ready and into their sari's! Lydia looked absolutely incredible in her bridal sari and was every bit the beautiful bride!

As I got to the church to finally meet Rob who looked amazing in his kilt I was also greeted by Silas the couples gorgeous staffy who was their ring bearer and behaved outstandingly well during what was an emotional and beautiful ceremony as these guys exchanged their vows and said I do in front of their family and friends! The weather had its act together and it only rained while we were all in the church!

The next stop was Forty Hall over in Enfield where we pretty much headed straight into the couple photos as we didn't want to lose the light with this being a winter wedding! Ah these guys are so in love this is the reason I love my job so much I get to capture these little moments between two people who were made to be together!

We had four speeches. Lydia's dad, Rob, Adam and then Rob's dad. Some wonderful and hilarious memories were shared as the speeches were made. Speeches are always such a pleasure and challenge to photograph as you want to try and get across how special and personal each one is.

Lydia then went and got changed into her red evening sari and once again just looked amazing! I am new massive fan of sari's especially teamed up with a kilt wearing groom! They had their first dance to Iris by the Goo goo dolls and the banqueting hall at Forty Hall makes for a great and atmospheric backdrop for the evening part!

Enjoy the photos and Lydia & Rob thank you so so much for having me, it was a wonderful experience capturing your day!

"They are just all so lovely Ami, we've had so many compliments on them and I cant thank you enough. You have so much talent and I am so glad we picked you! The day has been captured so beautifully and its nice to see things from a different perspective, there are certainly quite a few which will become family treasures"
